Jalisco, among the states with the most murders in Mexico during June

With 2,289 murders, June ranked as the second most violent month of the yearaccording to the daily report of victims of intentional homicide prepared by the federal security cabinet.

On average, 76.3 intentional deaths were recorded daily in the previous month.

In the first half of the year there are a total of 13 thousand 127 victims of intentional homicide in the countrythe majority are concentrated in Guanajuato, Baja California, Michoacán, State of Mexico, in absolute numbers.

The states with the most murders last month were Guanajuato, 264; Michoacan, 215; State of Mexico, 203; Jalisco, 165; Lower California, 132according to the report.

Notably Guanajuato recorded 18 murders in one dayon June 29, and Chihuahua, 17, on June 5.

Yesterday, Thursday, the last day of June, 73 people were murdered in the country, of which Jalisco counted 8; Lower California, 7; Michigan, 7; Guanajuato, 6; Sonora, 5.
