Emergency regulation in Harderwijk due to protest of the Netherlands in Resistance

In the municipality of Harderwijk, an emergency ordinance will be in force from 4 p.m. due to an announced demonstration by the Netherlands in the Resistance. He wants to walk through the streets of Harderwijk with a so-called Walk of Freedom.

The organization has held several protests against the corona measures in the past two years. Mayor Van Schaik van Harderwijk has decided in consultation with the police and the judiciary that the demonstration may continue. The emergency ordinance applies until 4 a.m. tomorrow.

An emergency ordinance already applied around the house of nitrogen minister Christianne van der Wal. Her house is in the municipality of Harderwijk. Farmers have already visited the house several times and broke through a police cordon there on Tuesday.
