The perception of managers about the economic situation of their company and the country fell during the past month in the manufacturing, construction, commercial and non-financial private services sectorsreveal the data published by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
The Manufacturing Business Confidence Indicator was 51.9 points in June 2022, 0.3 units less than last May, linking two months to the downside. Despite the above, the perception accumulates 14 consecutive months above the threshold of 50 points, in optimistic territory.
Four of the five components that make up the indicator reported a monthly declineamong which the one related to the future economic situation of the company stands out, with a monthly drop of 1.1 units.
The Business Confidence Indicator for Construction was 49.8 points in June, a fall of 0.6 points compared to May, with which it accumulates four months in decline. With this data, the construction indicator is established below the threshold of 50 points, in pessimistic terrain.
The five variables that make up business confidence in construction reported a dropamong which the one related to the future economic situation of the country stands out, with a monthly decrease of one percentage point.
For its part, the Commerce Business Confidence Indicator fell 0.3 points last month, linking two consecutive periods to the decline to reach 51.6 points. In this way, for 14 consecutive months the indicator is above the threshold of 50 points, in optimistic territory.
Finally, in the sixth month of 2022, the Business Confidence Indicator of Private Non-Financial Services fell 4.4 points monthly and stood at 50 points. With this data, for 10 consecutive months, the confidence of the Services remains above the threshold of 50 points.
