The federal deputy, Santiago Creel Miranda, affirmed that he is ready to be the candidate of the opposition alliance for the presidency of the Republic.
Visiting Guadalajara, where he gave the conference “Political Situation in the Country, with a view to 2024”, the former secretary of the interior stated that he is working on building his political capital and He specified that if it is not enough to be the standard bearer, he will support the best positioned profile.

Creel Miranda stated that they must establish a broad alliance that includes all social sectors and parties. Questioned about corruption in the PRI, the legislator defended its leader Alejandro Moreno and said that he has complied with the alliance, which he considered provoked the attack against him.
Regarding the reluctance of the Citizen Movement to join the opposition bloc, Creel said that he respects his positionwho maintains good communication and coincidences with emecists.
At the meeting convened by the political association Confio en México, the deputy reiterated the call to recover the country, improve the current security strategy, and address lags in health and the economy.
Among those attending the conference were former Governor Emilio González Márquez, federal deputies such as the emecistas Salvador Caro and Sergio Barrera; the PAN members Gustavo Macías and Miguel Monraz. Also the former PRI leader Ramiro Hernández and the local deputy of the tricolor Hortensia Noroña. In addition, PAN municipal presidents from Tepatitlán, Unión de San Antonio and Chapala, among others, attended.
