The Government of Guadalajara started yesterday with the cultural program “Al son que me tocan” in which the municipality of Ahualulco de Mercado was invited, with the Ollin Ahualulco Folkloric Ballet and the Ahualulco Women’s Mariachi, in addition to sweets and typical crafts of the valleys region.
“Today we welcome Ahualulco de Mercado with open arms, thank you president, for your support, really, for bringing these beautiful manifestations of what distinguishes us in Jalisco and in Mexico. Listening to this female mariachi, seeing the dances that they presented to us a few moments ago, seeing what the artisans, the artisans of Ahualulco, are doing, I was impressed by what can be achieved, what can be done with talent and dedication”, said the mayor of Guadalajara, Pablo Lemus, in Paseo Alcalde, near the Two Temples.
