Federal government embraces organized crime, accuses former Governor Emilio González Márquez

The current Federal administration has embraced organized crime and left only the state governments, declared the former governor of Jalisco, Emilio González Márquez, who argued that the current insecurity situation is different from what happened in his six-year term in which he said he told with the support of the Federal Government.

“Before we had a Federal Government that was on the side of the people, now there is a government that embraces criminal organizations, we have a President of the Republic that empowers drug traffickers and turns his back on families in Mexico. I do not know how to tell you if Morena is the political arm of drug traffickers or the drug traffickers are Morena’s armed arm, but I have no doubt that they are the same and we are seeing it in every election in the country, “he said.

He considered that, without federal forces, state and municipal authorities cannot contain organized crime groups. The former state president described as a childish attitude that currently the administration of Felipe Calderón continues to be blamed for the country’s problems and said that it is a way to evade responsibility.

The former head of the state Executive Power highlighted the courage of the representatives of the Catholic Church who have questioned the security strategy.

He added that Morena is an electorally competitive party because it takes advantage of the impoverishment it has generated in the country and profits from the scholarships it provides.

On the formation of the opposition alliance and the reluctance of the Citizen Movement to join, González Márquez considered that they should be integrated and leave party interests aside.

“It is time for Movimiento Ciudadano to put aside its party vision and its objectives to join the great objectives of Mexico”accurate.

Regarding the murder of the former PRI governor, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval, he said that his death hurt him because of the relationship they had, but he did not specify if as a result of that fact he reinforced his personal security.

The former state president attended the conference “Political Situation in the Country, with a view to 2024” given by the PAN federal deputy, Santiago Creel Miranda.
