Local reports indicate that an armed commando took almost a dozen workers from a ranch in Xcalak, south of Quintana Roo, for which military agents guard the property and began investigations into the disappearance of people.
The Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office reported that so far only three alleged victims have reported the disappearance, but preliminary inquiries indicate that there were about eight on the site who would be local employees.
“The #FGEQuintanaRoo started an investigation folder related to the disappearance of three men on a property in Xcalac, in the south of the state,” the ministerial unit reported briefly.

Hours earlier, local media had indicated that a group of heavily armed civilians arrived on the afternoon of June 23 to deprive the presumed Mayan workers of their liberty in the building located in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco.
When asked by Infobae Mexicothe Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office assured that ministerial agents had already come to collect the first indications and interviews about what happened.
Other versions indicate that there are even testimonies about alleged executions, but they have not been able to locate bodies that confirm these events, except for the references of who escaped.
