Sjöström again no gold 100m freestyle
Favorite Sarah Sjöström failed to win gold in the 100m freestyle. The Swedish, whose trophy cabinet is overflowing, has never been world champion in the distance. Gold went to 19-year-old Australian Mollie O’Callaghan (52.67). Silver was for Sjöström (52.80), bronze for Torri Huske (52.92).
