Hyenas is a remarkable announcement because this sci-fi shooter comes from Creative Assembly that we normally know from strategy games. Notably the biggest franchise, The Total War series. So Hyenas is their latest sci-fi first person shooter and the game has a really interesting graphic style. The story revolves around the man who went to Mars, but of course that was only possible for the richer people. Earth itself has gone to hell and is now a kind of big slum called ‘The Taint’. The Hyenas come from The Taint and are looking for rare pop merchandise to sell to the wealthy.
The trailer may be a bit forced and you may wonder for which audience this is intended. I think it’s meant for the Fortnite audience. In the game you have to steal something and it all happens in space, sometimes even without gravity. I’m thinking a kind of mode where you have to reach the treasure and then flee as you often see in games. All while a team defends the treasure.
