The Secretary of the Government of Mexico City, Martí Batres, reported that he tested positive for COVID-19, for which he remains isolated and working from home.
Through his Twitter account, Batres Guadarrama explained that he had cold symptoms, so the test was carried out, which was positive.
“Last night I started to feel symptoms of a cold. That’s why I didn’t go to the security cabinet meeting this morning or to the events I had scheduled. I took the COVID-19 test and it came out positive. I will follow up on my pending tasks from my house,” said the official.
This contagion occurs a day after the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaumwill overcome this disease.
