The images of the new A Plague Tale are again very beautiful. The new gameplay trailer shows that again. And we have a release date: October 18.
A Plague Tale: Requiem certainly looks bigger than its predecessor and this gameplay proves it. After a walk through lush nature, the two siblings end up in a quarry, where soldiers want to capture them.
Amicia goes into stealth mode again, of course, and Hugo’s brother and guardian has a ton of new tools to work with, including a crossbow.
The last half of the gameplay demo shows a wide open space outside the quarry, larger than the vast majority of areas in A Plague Tale: Innocence. As the first trailer for the sequel showed earlier this month, this new game seems to be a lot more violent and combat-oriented. When Asobo’s new game comes out in October later this year, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
