Once again, the Delegation of Jalisco Welfare Programs opened the registry for the incorporation of adults over 65 years of age to the pension program granted by the Federation, seeking to reach 20,000 more people on this occasion.
This was reported by the delegate in Jalisco for the Welfare Programs, Katia Meave, who indicated that the registry will remain open from today, Monday 20, until next July 3 at the different venues set up for it, so that the people who turned 65 years old between last May and June, as well as all those older than this age who have not joined the program, can do so, and are incorporated into the register that currently includes 671 thousand beneficiaries.
They can also register in the integration centers of each municipality throughout the State and in the Welfare Banks.
“The objective of this pension is to contribute to the elderly population through the granting of non-contributory support. Said program of the Federal Government endorses the vision that older adults are holders of economic and social rights. and that compliance must be guaranteed, free of charge and directly, without intermediaries, through the use of a bank card,” he said during the kick-off event, held at Parque San Jacinto, in Guadalajara.
How much is the support?
The beneficiaries of this program are offered a bimonthly support of 3 thousand 850 pesos, deposited on their bank card, from which they can withdraw the money they need or pay with it at any establishment that accepts card payments.
In addition to adding 20,000 more older adults, 39,000 cards will be delivered to beneficiaries who began their incorporation last April, and according to Meave Ferniza, to deliver it, a servant of the nation will call you to inform you what day you can pick it up with your official identification.
The delegate was also accompanied by the regional directors of Guadalajara and Zapopan, Marco Gutiérrez, and Gerardo Galicia, who recalled that the incorporation into the program, in addition to the San Jacinto Park, is carried out in 139 integration centers and in the Welfare Banks.

Support will help them buy medicines
Ana Bertha Guevara is 68 years old. Today, after having started the process for it in April, received your bank card to start receiving support from the first fortnight of July.
The woman said she was very happy to have joined the program that has become a constitutional benefit, that is, it is universal and once granted it cannot be withdrawn.
With this support, he said, you can have extra help to buy your medicines now that she is in the final stretch to beat the breast cancer that attacked her for several years.
“Yesterday they told me to come get my card. I arrived and they treated me very well, they have a lot of patience to serve us and help us. I arrived and in half an hour I left, they are very well organized. It will serve me for my medicines, for trucks , for food, for whatever comes out,” said the woman after receiving her card.
