Dirk van Duijvenbode and Danny Noppert failed to guide the Netherlands to the final of the World Cup of Darts. The two lost on Sunday in Frankfurt signed 2-0 against Wales.
Noppert had little to say in the first single match against former world champion Gerwyn Price: 1-4. Van Duijvenbode then also lost to Jonny Clayton: 2-4.
As a result, the decisive doubles match did not even have to be played anymore. Wales will face the winner of the England-Australia game in the final on Sunday evening.
The Dutch duo had convincingly settled Northern Ireland (2-0) earlier in the day. Previously, Ireland and Brazil were also eliminated without losing a game.
