The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) pointed out that in relation to the different investigations against Emilio Lozoya, former director of Pemex during the six-year term of Enrique Peña Nieto (PRI), the former official has not repaired the damage he did to the public treasury.
This Monday, June 6, through an official statement, the prosecutor’s office in charge of Alejandro Gertz Manero detailed that Lozoya Austin, accused of different acts of corruption, has not incurred in compensatory actions derived from the property damage he did to the Mexican State. In this sense, the authority pointed out three points: the case of Agronitrogenados, Odebrecht and tax evasion.
1.- Odebrecht case. Emilio “L”, has not complied with the reparation of the damage that is obligatory in the case. He continues the procedure without any procedural benefit.
2.- Agronitrogenated case. Emilio “L”, has not complied with the mandatory repair of the damage. Assets subject to asset forfeiture are seized. The criminal procedure continues without any procedural benefit.
3.- In the case of a tax debt of Emilio “L”, for payment of taxes, said payment has been managed through the Tax Attorney of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, a situation that is in process. This payment of taxes has no link of any nature, nor connection of any kind with the two previous cases.
