INE quick count
On its own, the National Electoral Institute published the estimate of the results of the vote for the gubernatorial election of Tamaulipas, in which an estimate with a lower and upper limit is given. Under this metric, the INE and its statistical indicators indicated that the next governor of Tamaulipas will be Américo Villarreal, from Morena.
This is because the lower limit of Villarreal is higher than the upper limit of Verástegui. According to the numbers of the institute led by Lorenzo Córdova, the popularity of Morena is between 49.5% and 52.7%, while that of the PAN ranges from 41.7% to 44.8 percent.
