A cyclist was injured in a collision with a van on Broekmolenweg in Rijswijk on Saturday afternoon.
The cyclist was hit by the van at a crosswalk. The vehicle then slammed into a fence and came to a stop next to the tram track. The cyclist fell hard and was injured. Emergency services have been dispatched to assist the victims.
Tram lines 1 and 19 were blocked for some time due to the collision.
It is not yet clear how the accident could have happened. Police Traffic Team conducts a brief investigation
