Two men were shot to death in different events in neighborhoods of the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara (ZMG). One of the homicides occurred during the early hours of Tuesday, while the second was last Sunday night.
At the intersection of Demóstenes and Gustavo Baz streets, in the Miguel Hidalgo neighborhood of Guadalajara, police officers located the body of a man, approximately 40 years old, in the garage of a house that was under construction, with injuries from a firearm and a sharp object.
Paramedics confirmed the death; Authorities do not know who the attackers were or the motive for the homicide.
The second case was recorded last Sunday night, at approximately 11:30 p.m., at the intersection of Manuel Acuña and José María Morelos streets, in the Santa María del Pueblito neighborhood of Zapopan.
At the point, a 25-year-old man was shot at by several subjects, but it was a single shot to the height of one of his eyes that took his life.
Both sites were attended by agents of the Public Ministry, who opened an investigation folder for the events, in addition to being attended by experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to collect evidence and lift the corpses to be transferred to the metropolitan morgue to perform the autopsy of corresponding law.
