World hour record live at the NOS
Ellen van Dijk will make her record attempt on Monday in Grenchen, Switzerland, between 5 and 6 p.m. She will have to cover a greater distance than Britain’s Joscelin Lowden, who reached 48 kilometers and 405 meters on September 30, 2021 in the same Grenchen. That distance is equal to 193 laps (on the 250 meter track) plus 155 meters.
