MOSCOW — A Russian civilian has been killed in cross-border bombing from Ukraine, according to the governor of a region in western Russia.
Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit explained that the attack launched by Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday hit a driver who was driving his truck to a distillery in the town of Tetkino.
Several other people were injured, Starovoit added.
Russian authorities have repeatedly reported material and personal damage caused by Ukrainian attacks in border areas.

kyiv, Ukraine — A Ukrainian governor reports the death of four civilians in a Russian attack.
Serhiy Haidai, governor of Luhansk, said the deaths occurred when Russian troops shelled the city of Sievierodonetsk on Wednesday. The operation also left three wounded, he said.
According to Haidaim, the Russian offensive was continuing as of early Thursday. Sievierodonetsk is the epicenter of the fighting in the east, where Moscow’s forces have tried to advance in the face of staunch Ukrainian resistance.
Separatist authorities in the Donetsk region, which borders Luhansk, said Ukrainian shelling in the past 24 hours has left two civilians dead and five wounded.
