The police found the remains of a nineteen-year-old man from the Limburg city in a forest near Sittard. Police say they strongly suspect that he died as a result of a crime.
The man had been missing since May 11. His body was found near the De Kollenberg district in Sittard.
According to the police, the teenager was last seen on Wednesday evening 11 May at the Ligne in Sittard. He then rode around on a black men’s bicycle. Since then there has been no trace of either the young man or his bicycle.
On Tuesday, police called on people to look for the missing man and photos of him were published. Police expect to release more information on Friday.
