With the aim of expanding flight alternatives in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico, Viva Aerobus restarted its flights to Cancun and Monterrey from Toluca International Airport; In addition, it will fly to Mérida and Puerto Vallarta from this airport.
On July 28, the airline will restore its route to Cancun from Toluca with three flights a day and, after the summer season, starting on September 9, it will operate two daily flights.
On that same date, Viva will also resume its flights to Monterrey with two flights a day and, starting in September, it will increase to three daily frequencies.
Starting September 9, Viva will start the operation of the Toluca-Mérida and Toluca-Puerto Vallarta routes, both with a daily flight.
“We are convinced that these four routes will make it easier for more people to get to know the natural, cultural, artisanal and gastronomic wealth of Mexico. And, at the same time, by strengthening the city’s air connectivity, our state grows as a logistics center for the country,” mentioned Marcela González Salas, Secretary of Culture and Tourism of the State of Mexico”.

For his part, Juan Carlos Zuazua, general director of Viva Aerobus, said that with these four routes, the airline will continue to grow its offer in the Valley of Mexico. with a proposal of low prices, direct flights and new planes.
The flights will be operated with Airbus A320/A321 aircraft with capacity for 186/240 passengers, with an average age of five years.
