After receiving the report of armed people in the mountains at Cerro del Laurel in Villa Hidalgo, Jalisco, municipal police officers went to the site and they were received with bullets apparently by a local organized crime group; They do not report injuries or arrests.
The report was received by the municipal police at 1:30 p.m. this Monday on the aforementioned hill.
Upon arrival, the officers were shot at by the alleged criminals. A police source in the area said they repelled the attack.
The armed subjects fled through the winding site, therefore, their arrest was complicated. They report so far that there are no injured people.
At the moment, the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office has not issued information in this regard.
