One of the poorest neighborhoods in Lima now has its own skate ramp, thanks to the tenacity of a dreamer.
We are in Villa María del Triunfo and Willy Jeisson Quispe is the protagonist of this story. This 24-year-old English student convinced his father to help him make his dream come true, in hopes of reaching something, one day, in the world of skateboarding, his passion.
The ramp has become a meeting point for lovers of this sport and an inspiration for other young people who have just discovered it.
Although it is open to everyone, until the necessary security measures are put in place, the Villa María del Triunfo ramp is reserved for experienced skaters.
