The head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that the third “Root-Cause” report of the accident on line 12 of the Metro of the DNV company will be made public despite having filed a civil suitwhich will include the responses they gave the company.

The above is due to the international publication of the newspaper El Paíswhere it is emphasized that in the third DNV report there are responsibilities regarding the maintenance of the Gold Line.
In this regard, Claudia Sheinbaum defended that the maintenance logs provided by her administration to Line 12 are public, so they will also make said document public, but with the observations of the local administration.
“The last report was not paid, it has not been paid and precisely a contract termination is being made. We are very calm and sure of what we have done and what has been done, but it is important that it not be through a leak because once again they violated the confidentiality agreement.
Sheinbaum added that “then we have asked the lawyers if we can do it even when we are in this trial and they have told us that it is possible to do it, since it is already public. We prefer to do it that way, we are going to be making it public, we are going to prepare it publicly.” , so that all the answers, one by one, that were given to the company are known,” he said.
To an express question about when the document will be disseminated, Sheinbaum pointed out that It will be these days, since the lawyers are reviewing it for the lawsuit they filedand clarified that the maintenance logs were delivered to the Norwegian company.
“In the contract it is established that there was a Technical Committee that was going to follow up on the reports that were delivered, then they deliver a report and it does not meet the specifications of the contract, even extensions are made because the methodology is not complied with and even that they finally deliver and a formal document is made as to why they are not complying with the methodology, but they do not accept and another document is made with more in-depth technical detail that their own methodology is not being complied with”.
Sheinbaum reiterated that the report delivered by DNV has a “political bias, as well as a conflict of interest” for the legal representative who participated in a lawsuit against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in 2012.
“(…) Evidently there is a political bias in what they are doing, it is not something technical, that is why there is a political bias, for this reason since the City Government delivered the last report, through a technical group, they have been answering that they are not complying methodologically with what they promised in the contract and they do not even comply in the third report,” he said at a press conference.
