At the Cruz Verde Niña Eva in Zapopan, a man died who had been shot in the Jardines de Nuevo México neighborhood during the early hours of Friday. The victim had several injuries from a firearm projectile on his body; the doctors who tried to revive him confirmed the death.
The attack happened at 00:05 hours, according to the Municipal Police, at the intersection of Primera Norte and Segunda Poniente streets.
The now deceased was traveling in a white Nissan Versa vehicle. One of the wounds that was visible to paramedics was to his chest on his upper right side, near his collarbone.
A brother of the victim went to the aid station, who was hermetic with the authorities. More details about the mobile and the cause are still unknown.
An agent from the Public Ministry attended, who opened an investigation folder for the homicide, as well as experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences who lifted the body to take it to the metropolitan morgue to perform the law autopsy.
