Holy Week 2022: For religious festivities, there will be road closures in the Tapatío Center

To allow those attending the religious festivities this weekend to carry out their tours safely, the Security Secretariat reported that, through the Road Police, it will make traffic cuts as well as personnel speeding up traffic.

For the tour of the Seven Temples that takes place this Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. there will be personnel standing on the groundsafeguarding the pedestrian crossing and speeding up traffic at the following points:

Hidalgo and September 16 Revolution and September 16 Hidalgo and Pedro Loza Mayor and Reforma Mayor and Juan Álvarez San Felipe and Contreras Medellín Federalism and Herrera and Cairo

While for this Good Friday, April 15, Support will be provided for the realization of the Way of the Cross that takes place in Our Lady of the Tabernacleso there will be preventive cuts to circulation in:

Alcalde Avenue, from Ávila Camacho to Jesús García Jesús García Avenue, from Mariano Bárcenas to Alcalde Jesús García Avenue from Liceo to Alcalde Therefore, it is recommended to take Liceo Street, Mariano Bárcenas Street or Guanajuato Street as alternate routes.

Also, for April 15 assistance will be provided for the Stations of the Cross that takes place in the Parish of San José de Analco and the preventive cuts will be in:

Revolution Avenue, from Clavel to Calzada Independencia Revolution Avenue from Calzada Independencia to Belisario Domínguez.

As alternate routes you can use Cuitláhuac streets (towards Calzada Independencia from East to West); Valentín Gómez Farías (towards Calzada Independencia from East to West); as well as Calzada Independencia in both directions.

The Secretary of State Security, through the Road Police Station, makes an attentive call to citizens to heed the indications of the road police and thus keep public spaces and roads safe for all.
