The Fast & Furious franchise is looking for new cast members among the superheroes. Following the addition of Aquaman actor Jason Momoa in Fast & Furious 10 (2023), it has now also been announced that Captain Marvel star Brie Larson will appear in Part 10.
Where Momoa will take on the role of villain, no details are yet known about Larson’s role in the action film. Vin Diesel announces the news about the new cast member on Instagram. “This profound soul will add something you may not have expected but longed for,” he writes of Larson. “Welcome to the family.” In addition to Marvel, we also know Larson from films such as Room (2015) and Kong: Skull Island (2017).
In addition to Diesel returning as Dom Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron will also return. However, not everyone can be seen again; for example, Dwayne Johnson publicly declined Diesel’s offer to return in part 10: “No chance of me returning”.
Fast and Furious 10 will be the penultimate installment in the long-running series. The films end with part 11. Although Dom’s big story ends after this, several spin-off stories are already being worked on at Universal.
