during the second Binational Meeting of Migrant Leaders, held in the El Lago event hall, of the company Dulces de la Rosa, by the Fundación Honoris Causa, attendees highlighted the importance of collaboration between business leaders, civil organizations and authorities from Jalisco and the United States (EU).
This, they said, because These relationships allow promoting actions and promoting public policies in support of Jalisco and Mexicans in the country and also in the neighboring nation.
“From the Honoris Causa Foundation we want these projects to continue growing, to continue promoting more works for the good of society, of the people of Jalisco here in our State, but also those who live in the United States. It is very important that we have projection, leadership, and we will be on the lookout to continue promoting this type of practices and projects for it”, said Enrique Michel, general director of Mazapán de la Rosa and president of Honoris Causa.
An example of the collaborations that are part of these links is the donation of two fire trucks by the mayor of Montebello, California, and the Association of Jaliscienses Unidos en Acción (Ajua). There is also the appointment of Zapopan as the venue for the meeting of municipal presidents in September 2022, in which 10 mayors will meet, including officials from the United States. The municipal president of Zapopan, Juan José Frangie, received the courier and said he was pleased and proud to receive the appointment, since it is a recognition for the municipality that he governs.
