Members of the Mexican Alliance of Carriers AC (AMOTAC) They announced that this Tuesday they will carry out a strike due to various disagreements related to restrictions on their work.
Therefore, assured the AMOTAC, this Tuesday o’clock at 8:00 a.m. a strike will be held as a peaceful demonstration in the Highway to Zapotlanejo and about the Highway to Chapala at its intersection with South Peripheral. Trips to Tlajomulco and Tepic are also contemplated, although it all depends on the distribution of the members who come to participate.
Among the disagreements that exist, they stated that they did not agree with the bike paths, which for them represents a restriction of lanes, “too slow” traffic and accidents, which brings as a consequence, they said, pollution and global warming.
“Authorities, monitor the usefulness of these bike lanes since they are not useful, cyclists do not use them, our city does not lend itself to this type of transport; instead of destroying roads for obsolete things, invest in repaving,” said the AMOTAC through a trade.
They assured, they have been affected by insecurity due to robberies and assaults on the highways. They said against the tolls and demanded to remove the booth Guadalajara-Zapotlanejoin addition to being exposed against the vehicular verification implemented in the Jalisco stateamong other points.
“The carriers will form a sit-in, it was mentioned that the completion of these will be until they receive a response from the Government of Jalisco“, asserted the AMOTAC.
The association has more than 35,000 members, including small owners, tractor trucks, cargo trucks and torton trucks.
