Through their Twitter accounts, various actors asked for help for actor Fred Roldán, who is hospitalized at Médica Sur; it is known that he is “very delicate” and in intensive care.

“Blood donors are urgently needed for my dear Fred Roldán,” comedian Freddy Ortega wrote in an image, also including the requirements to donate blood that people interested in supporting must meet.

Donors must go to the Basement of the Tower I Hospital located at Puente de Piedra Avenue No. 150, Toriello Guerra neighborhood in the Tlalpan mayor’s office in Mexico City.

-Present valid official identification with photograph

-Have a body weight greater than 50 kg

-Minimum fast of 4 hours maximum of 12 hours.

-In the case of women: Not be pregnant or have had pregnancies in the last 6 months, nor be breastfeeding

-Be in good health on the day of the donation. (People with flu, fever, diarrhea, etc. will not be able to donate.)

-If you are taking an antibiotic, you must allow seven days to pass after the last dose to be able to donate.

-Not having been vaccinated in the last 4 weeks. (Although in the Imagen Television program it was specified that this point could be omitted)

-If some type of surgery was performed, allow at least 6 months to pass before being able to donate.

-If a tattoo, piercing or acupuncture was done, allow at least 1 year to pass before you can donate.

-If you had hepatitis in childhood (before the age of 10), you can donate.

-If the person has donated before, they must wait the following days to make another donation: Whole blood 2 months and platelets more than 48 hours.

The hours to donate at the hospital’s blood bank are: from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. In this case, the earliest date to donate is Saturday, March 12.

In his biographical book, Fred Roldán named himself Mr. Theaterbecause in his career he has given life to more than 50 characters, one of the best known is Pinocchio.

The actor has repeatedly shown his passion for the performing arts, since he started working at the age of six playing a clown. In addition, he is director of the Roldán Sandoval Cultural Center.
