Members of the Hagamos party demanded transparency from the State Government regarding the amounts and management of the public debt of the current administration.
“An under-exercise of almost six billion pesos is documented in areas such as health and safety”
“An under-exercise of almost six billion pesos is documented in areas as strategic as health and safety, so we do not understand what is happening. We demand as soon as possible penny by penny spending and what is being done with the use of that money. The under-exercise in public is inadmissible, that means that it is not being planned well and is not being executed properly”, said the president of the party. Gutierrez Guizar.
He added that there is little concern about accountability and opacity in the explanations: “The resources are not accounted for, a credit that was never explained and that has not been clear on what has been spent and how it has been executed and what was the true impact to combat the crisis caused by the pandemic”, he assured. .
The Coordinator of Hagamos in Congress, Mara Robles, pointed out that it is necessary to make evaluations of the contracted debt and take advantage of the fact that a group of citizens and businessmen were in charge of following up on the debt contracted by the State Government, so that they are invited to present their conclusions, but also make a legal reform to make the process of public indebtedness more accurate and that requires the authorization of two thirds of Congress for the contracting of debt, even short-term.
“It is historical, as the governor says, the number of credits that have been requested and the little transparency”
For his part, Deputy Enrique Velázquez González He stated that every time the Secretary of Finance is summoned, he denies the credits.
“It is historical, as the governor says, the number of credits that have been requested and the little transparency, this government has had money like no other for the debt contracted and the increase of 11 percent. We want the correct exercise of the resource to be explained, since in the municipalities the money does not arrive, nor the public works, interest is going to be paid for a bad and expensive credit, ”he said.
Finally, Tonatiuh Bravo, alderman of Guadalajara, called on the State Congress to carry out an exhaustive investigation on the unsecured credits requested by the Executive, as well as the budget sub-year.
