NEW YORK, Jan 28 (Reuters) – Brazil is expected to produce 63.2 million bags of coffee in the 2022/23 season, a 16.6% increase from the previous campaign, as trees recover from frost and last year’s drought due to better crop care and good weather, a major trader said on Friday.
Coffee exporter Comexim, one of the country’s largest coffee exporters and producer, said in a report that the logistics situation is improving as ship booking allocations and container availability increase, but freight rates are still expensive.
