The state of Zacatecas is a territory in dispute between several drug trafficking organizations, such as the CJNG, Sinaloa Cartel or Northeast. This fight for control of the square has generated an atmosphere of insecurity that sows terror among the inhabitants, who daily hear detonations or know about an innocent murdered.
In addition to this, only in this 2022 there are already eight murdered security agents in the entity that governs the morenista David Monreal, when last year the state ranked third in the entire country by quadrupling the cases with 36 executed policemen, while that in 2020 there had been eight corporate officials.
Regardless of the promise of the deployment of 3,800 agents, agreed since last November 25, the battle does not give up in the territory and is intensifying more and more.
