The employment rate in the OECD area, which designates the share of people of working age with a job, reached 68% in the third quarter of 2021, after 67.4% in the second quarter, according to figures published on Tuesday January 25 by the international organization.
The employment rate increased in 35 of the 37 OECD countries for which data are available.
In the third quarter of 2021, the employment rate in France was above its pre-pandemic level, at 64.9%, compared to 63.8% at the end of 2019.
