In London, the life of a man went viral after he declared that he had become a “professional strainer” since he earns a lot of money simply by making finals on behalf of other people who do not want to wait.
Freddie Beckitt says that he charges approximately 20 pounds (approximately 500 Mexican pesos) just to stand in line for other people, something that he does not have much problem doing because he says that patience is one of his great virtues.
With this simple activity, 31-year-old Freddie says he has managed to gain up to 160 pounds (more than four thousand Mexican pesos) in a few hours. He recalls that one of his last jobs was standing in line to buy tickets to popular events, featuring performances at the Apollo, for clients with deep pockets and little time.
Such was the case for the V&A Christian Dior event where he queued for eight hours to get the passes, something that paid him well.
Freddie shares that his clients can be from entire families, young people or elderly people, since he says that he does not discriminate their situation, age or event for which they must wait their turn in question. The young man advertises his services through Taskrabbit’s online platform, where he also mentions that he takes care of pets, runs errands and knows about gardening.
