Philips makes significantly less profit due to problems with sleep apnea devices

Due to the problems with Philips’ sleep apnea devices, profit from continuing operations for the full year is 612 million euros. That was 999 million euros a year earlier. The problems saddled the company with a cost of 719 million euros, not counting any legal costs.
