Elden Ring has officially gone ‘Gold’. Bandai Namco confirmed this during the Taipei Game Show 2022. In principle, this status for the game mainly means that the game will not be delayed any further and will therefore be available on February 25, 2022.
“Elden Ring was scheduled to release in January of 2022 and has been delayed once to February.” This is how FromSoftware producer Yasuhiro Kitao says during of special braodcast. “We are now confident that the game will be available on February 25, 2022. The ‘Master Version’ has been submitted. The team is now working on the Day One patch to ensure that everything in the game is working properly.”
Going gold of a game in the game industry does not mean that the game is completely ready. As Kitao himself indicates, developers are continuing to work on the game. This does mean that the game can be produced on a large scale.
