Ate: two people died after a collision between a car and a bus on Vía Evitamiento

In the early morning hours of this Monday, January 24, it was learned that on the Vía Evitamiento at the height of the Ate district, two people lost their lives after a collision between a private car and a bus from the “El Chino” company.

The accident occurred at exactly 3 in the morning and the police are investigating what happened in this vehicle accident. Although some witnesses assure that the car was coming at full speed and did not see that the public transport bus was parked with its lights off.

The police arrived at the place, who had to restrict the traffic of two lanes of the road from south to north. Rutas de Lima staff was also present in the accident area.

According to a report from the firefighters of Peru, they are still working in the area, since the experts have not yet arrived to collect the bodies.

Due to this accident, Juan Carlos Roca Muñoz and Elizabeth Mozo Quispe were taken to a well-known local clinic to be treated for the injuries caused by the strong impact.

Let us remember that a few days ago, at least 16 people were injured, one seriously, after a bus overturned in the middle of Vía Evitamiento, after hitting a retaining bar at the height of the Derby bridge in the district of San Borja.

Several fire and rescue units from the municipality of San Borja and Santiago de Surco arrived at the scene.

The residents of the Cristo Vencedor human settlement in San Juan de Lurigancho lived the worst nightmare when they learned that one of their neighbors murdered their four-year-old son and then tried to take his own life by cutting his wrists.

The events took place in the afternoon, when the minor’s mother went out to buy some things in the market, leaving her partner, Jefferson Reynaga Estacio, and their little son at home. Without predicting what will happen, the woman goes out shopping for the house.

Upon returning to the house, the scene is terrifying, as they find the child hanging and the father covered in blood. After cries for help, the mother was helped by neighbors. However, the minor had already passed away.

Meanwhile, the Jefferson Reynaga was captured by law enforcement officers from San Juan de Lurigancho and taken to the area hospital, where he remains detained for the alleged crime of murder.

The investigations were carried out by the prosecutor’s office and agents from the San Juan de Lurigancho police station.

The residents of the area made a request to the prosecutor’s office so that the death of this child does not go unpunished and that the person responsible pays with jail for this crime that has dismayed all the inhabitants of this area.
