Ivana Yturbe called on all her fans to support the cleaning of the beaches in the north of Lima after the oil spill by the Repsol company. Through your account Instagram, the model announced that she was going to donate her hair with the intention of contributing a grain of sand.

It should be noted that so far dozens of volunteers have come to the affected areas to save marine animals and support fishermen who have been left without their main source of income.

Because it is proven that human hair absorbs oil, Ivana Yturbe made the decision to cut her lush hair to donate it to the organizations that are collecting this product.

In her publication, she explained that during the last days she has been informing herself to be able to help with the cleaning of the beaches; however, since she could not go to Ventanilla in person, she decided to support in another way.

This is how he made the decision to cut his hair to be able to donate it, this despite the fact that he explained that his hair is one of the parts of his body that he loves the most, but that Peru is first of all.

“I love my hair, but I love my country more. If in any way I can influence the people who follow me to donate their hair and thus add strength to help, I will do it”, he said in his message.

“These days I have been informing myself and seeing how to contribute my grain of sand to help in this unfortunate disaster that is terribly affecting our country. One of the ways to help is by donating your hair to be used in the oil cleanup. For this reason, I decided to cut my hair without thinking about it and take it to a responsible collection point“, wrote.

Ivana Yturbe joined the campaign that seeks to collect human hair to clean the oil from the Ventanilla sea.
