They reported threats from the CJNG to Jalisco police

Reports on social networks spread the alleged drug leaflet distributed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) against municipal police officers north of the entity governed by Enrique Alfaro.

According to local reports, the sheets were sent to agents from Ojuelos, Encarnación de Díaz and Teocaltiche, but the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office did not report any complaint about the case when consulted by this means, nor if they had become aware of the situation.

One of the leaked trades indicates threats to the families of the officers, as they would be accused of collaborating with the Sinaloa Cartel. Although the narcomessage can also be interpreted so that those of the CJNG are not persecuted.

“FOR ALL THE MUNICIPAL POLICE IT IS A CALL OF ATTENTION TO CALM DOWN THE V*RG* WE ALREADY HAVE ASUS FAMILY LOCATED (sic)”, read the alleged warning.

“THE FART IS NOT WITH YOU BUT YOU STILL WANT TO FART FART YOU WILL BE CAREFULLY CARTEL JALISCO NUEVA GENERACON (sic)”, they added.

The north of Jalisco is territory in dispute between the CJNG against the Sinaloa Cartel. There have been clashes there in recent months, as the forces of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes entered Zacatecas and those of Ismael Zambada García have wanted to stop that advance.

Just last January 8, a group of hitmen carried out a violent coup against the authorities of Ojuelos. According to official reports, around 7:45 a.m. the state police officers were attacked by three men traveling in a gray Dodge RAM pickup on José Robledo streets, between Matamoros and Los Angeles.

The aggression began when the officers stopped the subjects, apparently suspicious. But when they were besieged, the criminals reacted by shooting at the uniformed men and a policewoman was injured in the leg, so she was taken to a hospital.

The gunmen fled on foot, abandoning the unit. Although after a deployment of local police and the National Guard, three people were captured and four weapons were seized. This is the same municipality where the threats were broadcast this January 18.

While at the end of last year, in the first week of December, there was a shooting in the Teocaltiche mayor’s office. Between 06:30 a.m., the inhabitants began to hear detonations of large-caliber firearms, which continued for about an hour until the alleged criminal groups withdrew from various parts of the city.

According to sources who witnessed the event, the shots could be heard consecutively, which would indicate that high-powered automatic weapons were used, likewise, videos broadcast on social networks that captured these sounds demonstrate the warlike potential of the criminal groups that are they met on the spot.

After the confrontation was made known, members of the Army and the National Guard went to the scene to try to bring order to the situation, which caused the alleged criminals to open fire against the security forces.

Several vehicles were abandoned by those who were involved in the shooting, cars that had numerous bullet wounds and that had been equipped with special armor and high-caliber weapons.

The municipal president of Teocaltiche, Juan Manuel Vallejo Pedroza, recommended that students of different levels of education in the entity stay at home, a measure that was adopted to avoid unnecessary risks due to the possibility of a new confrontation between rival groups.

Families have already been displaced by the struggle of the CJNG against the Sinaloa Cartel in the same demarcation. Other security agents have been attacked and the violence does not stop. Only on April 30, 2021, the shooting continued in the streets of Encarnación de Díaz, la Chona.
