The year began with good news for consumers from the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE): the price of household gas fell in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (ZMG), despite the rise in inflation in Mexico.
However, the low costs did not last even the first fortnight of the month.
The price of the kilogram went from 20.45 to 22.21 pesos in that period. That means the cylinder will cost 666.3, on average, an increase of 52.8 pesos. The same costs in Guadalajara, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Tonalá, Zapopan, Zapotlanejo, El Salto and Juanacatlán.
Ocotlán is one of the municipalities with the largest increases in Jalisco, since the cylinder amounts to 717.3 pesos.
