Police from El Salto reported at 01:20 hours this Sunday a person injured by a firearm, on the crossings of Children Heroes and Galeana. Upon arrival, the agents found a subject lying on the asphalt, who had injuries caused by a firearm and hematic fluid.
They requested help from the Medical Services, which minutes later confirmed the death due to the impact of a firearm projectile.
Two minors were also affected at the scene, one with an injury to his right foot and the other with injuries to his hands and back.. Said injuries were caused by fragments of the “shrapnel” projectiles, since they were close to the subject.
Paramedics assessed them in fair condition, because they were not shot.
The assault occurred after a cockfight.
Later, a woman came to the scene, who identified herself as the wife of the deceased. Members of the Investigative Police and the Institute of Forensic Sciences continue with the investigation process of the case.
