After a video of a Mexican garbage collector circulated on social media as he visited and put on makeup like The Demon, of the group Kiss. Gene Simmons thanked the worker for the gesture through his Twitter account.
Gene Simmons, member of the famous American band Kiss, also known as The Demon, on the night of this January 14, he surprised his followers by sharing the video of Rodrigo, a cleaning worker from Monterrey, Nuevo León.
And it is that in said video Rodrigo is fulfilling his duties as a garbage collector, but he does it in a unique way. From behind the garbage truck, the man is seen shouting “garbage”, but with the characteristic costume of the members of Kiss, as well as hair imitating the hairstyle of the musicians and makeup of Gene Simmons.
While being recorded, he also poses as a member of the band, proudly showing off his outfit.

The video began to circulate on social networks since mid-2020, but it would have reached Simmons this week, and he decided to share it on his Twitter account, where he dedicated a few words to the garbage collector. He assured that he is “a powerful and attractive man”.
“This handsome gentleman works at the cleaning company in Monterey, Mexico… A powerful and attractive man, if ever there was one! Thank you Rodrigo”
So far, his tweet has reached 19,333 likes and has garnered nearly 4,000 retweets. The video has already exceeded 240 thousand reproductions only with this tweet.
Among the answers Gene got was the company Environmental Network, to which the garbage truck from which Rodrigo was working belongs. “Thank you so much for sharing it! For us it is an honor. Greetings from Monterrey, NL. Mexico,” the tweet reads.

Some Internet users assured that the worker has already seen Simmons’ response thanks to the wide dissemination that the publication has had.
Celia Lora, daughter of Álex Lora, as well as dozens of Mexicans also applauded the garbage collector and reacted by asking the musician to return to Aztec lands with the entire group.
Fans have also asked if Kiss He returns to Mexico, they should give him a pass Meet&Great to the worker who is the protagonist of the video for being so faithful to the group, in addition to showing it with pride even when he is doing his work.

For those who did not understand the dynamics that the garbage collector is following, as it is something usual in Mexico but not abroad, there were also Mexican Internet users who explained how garbage is collected in the country, since there were those who did not understand that Rodrigo shouts “garbage ” in the video because he is advertising the truck.
