A week after Dying Light 2 was released, developer Techland said the game will take “at least 500 hours” to complete. Now we’re discovering at least five years of post-launch content coming up with new stories, areas and more.
Techland announced its post-launch plans on Twitter. We don’t know how many of those scheduled updates will come out as free content and how many as paid DLC.
However, Techland also supported Dying Light with a lot of free content and various paid add-ons, perhaps the sequel will receive similar support.

Dying Light 2 was previously in the news because of the 500 hours of content according to the developers. Clarifying that figure later, Techland said it takes 500 hours to literally complete everything the game has to offer. They also added different choices in the story, endings and more.
Players who only want to play the main story and sidequests will have about 70-80 hours. If you want to finish the story as quickly as possible, you will end up with about 20 hours.
Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4th, check out the official gameplay trailer here.
