A Starfield-themed watch has leaked online and fans believe it will be part of the Collector’s Edition of the game.
The watch was first spotted in a behind-the-scenes trailer from last year (on 1:33 the watch can be seen), but new images that appeared on the Starfield subreddit (by user SquiddyVonn) also show a manual of The Wand Company.
As with other smartwatches, this watch has a number of extra features. There are different designs to set and the images show that, among other things, the temperature, humidity and times for sunrise and sunset can be seen.
From manual the post refers to, gives a little more information. It can be read that the device is made by a company in Great Britain called The Wand Company. The company has previously worked on projects for Pokémon and the Pip-Boy that came with a number of Fallout 4 Special Editions.
A number of comments on Reddit suggest the watch will be part of the Collector’s Edition for Starfield. That has not yet been confirmed by Bethesda at the time of writing.
In a YouTube video suggests SquiddyVonn that the watch could be part of the UI in Starfield. In addition, the video refers to a display that was in the first trailer. It could work just like the Pip-Boy for Fallout games. That was also the menu and possibly a watch will have the same function in Starfield.
So it remains to be seen whether the watch will actually be part of Starfield and whether a physical copy will be included with the collector’s edition. Starfield has a planned release date of November 11, 2022. The game should then be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will not be released on PlayStation and that has to do with the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft.
