In Jalisco it is now possible to pay for all public transportation systems through the “Mi Movilidad” prepaid card, including trucks, feeder and complementary routes, Sitren, Light Rail and Macrobús.
In fact, with the arrival of the Peribús, also known as “My Macro Peripheral”, The Government of Jalisco will give away 200,000 of these cards to its users: 100,000 during the socialization stage, and 100,000 more during the start of the service.
But how can you know how much balance your My Mobility card has without having to go to a recharging station or point?
This is possible through the “Mi Pago” mobile application, developed by the private sector to help people know how much money their card has, as well as the last payments and top-ups made, in order to keep better control of your tickets.

The application was developed by the company SFINX SA de CV and is available free of charge for users of iOS and Android mobile stores, totaling more than 20,000 downloads on both operating systems.
To access it, you just have to download the application from the virtual store of your mobile phone, and give it the permitted access.
The app will only work if your phone has the NFC (Near Field Communication) function, a short-range wireless connection technology that allows the exchange of information between devices, similar to the infrared system that was famous in the beginning from the 2000s.
When accessing, the application will request that you place the card behind your device, and it will automatically tell you the available balance, with the option to know the movements made recently with your prepaid card.

So far it is not possible to recharge the plastic from the mobile, however, according to the company responsible for it, they are already developing the possibility of achieving it, although there is no date to carry it out. At the moment the My Mobility card can only be recharged in the Light Rail and Macrobus modules and some Public Transport trucks.
The Ministry of Transportation reported that it is not related to this application, and that for now they are working on verifying issues of image and relationship with the transport companies.
According to the developer company, the application does not collect user data during its use.
