A resident of the town of Florida, River fan, fan of motorcycles and outdoor life, Longhi leaves his legacy in three children. Those most familiar with his career in the municipal club say that he was the founder of rugby in the institution and that he developed his second-line skills on the Vilo fields. They even claim that he played the first game in the early 1980s.

Some time after his stage as an amateur player ended, Longhi decided to stay close to the sport as a leader and became president of the Municipality Club of Vicente López. According to public records, he had been working there since February 2012. “He has presided over the club for at least 20 years, although with some intermittence,” they said.
