The Government of Mexico City, through the Water System (SACMEX), recalled that a reduction of up to 50% can be obtained in the payment of the supply corresponding to the first two months of 2022, which is intended for properties with low consumption and that they are current in their payments.
In addition, government support was also designed for retired people, pensioners, due to unemployment in advanced age, due to old age, disability due to work risks, disability, widows and orphans of pensioners, older adults without fixed income and scarce resources, mothers single and divorced with economic dependents, separated women and heads of the household.
This is why the procedure must be carried out by the owner of the property that meets the above characteristics, since only then can the discount in the bimonthly payment be valid.

To carry out the procedure, you have to go in person to the Citizen Service area of the local administration or go to the Public Service staff, there you will be asked to start checking the documents and capturing them in the system.
In the documents that are physically granted, the name and signature or fingerprint will have to be recorded, as the case may be. It is important to clarify that the procedure has no cost and is not valid for its completion, although once the documents are delivered, there will be a response within 15 business days.
The documents requested are original and a copy of some official identification, so you can present the credential to vote from the National Electoral Institute (INE), professional card issued by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) and a Mexican passport issued by the Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE).

Another service in which a discount can be obtained is in the payment of the property, which is a tax that every person who owns a property must assume, regardless of the use that he gives to the home, whether it is home, local , office, etc.
According to the law of the capital of the country, it is paid in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December; however, those who disburse the bimesters in advance can obtain tax benefits.
By 2022, the state agency will offer discounts to the beneficiaries who make the annual property payment in the months of January and February. The stimuli will be the following:
– 8% discount, for those who make the payment in January.
– 5% discount, for those who pay the payment in February.
In addition, the properties that present structural damage caused by cracks will again obtain a forgiveness in the property tax that will go from 50 to 100%. While the elderly, retired or pensioners pay a fixed fee of 55 pesos every two months. To do this, they must register in descuentopredial.cdmx.gob.mx.

* Valid official identification with photograph.
* CURP of the taxpayer.
