On Tuesday January 11, 368,149 people tested positive for Covid-19 in 24 hours, according to the daily bulletin of Public Health France, which is a level not reached since the start of the pandemic. And hospital pressure also continues to worsen: 25,389 patients with Sars-Cov-2 (compared to 22,749 the day before) are hospitalized, of which 3,149 were admitted in 24 hours and 3,149 new hospitalizations were recorded in 24 time.

In all, there are 3,969 critical care patients, including 492 new admissions. Finally, in 24 hours, 270 people were killed by the disease, bringing the total number of deaths to 125,988 since the start of the epidemic.

On the vaccine side, the vaccination campaign continues in the country. In total, some 594,753 people received a booster dose in one day and 33,648 first-time injections were performed in the last 24 hours, or 40,594 new injections per day on average over the last 7 days. Finally, 52.1 million people are fully vaccinated, or 77.6% of the population.
