Amazon Prime Video brings us the third season of the superhero comedy series The Boys (2019– ) this spring. That means fans have had to do without the superheroes for no less than eighteen months. The first teaser is out now.
The second season ended with several casualties and especially big turns. Ryan tried to save his mother from Stormfront; he cut off the supe’s limbs and made short work of her with his superpowers. Unfortunately, his mission was in vain and this also cost his mother his life. Homelander, meanwhile, was blackmailed by Maeve into letting Butcher and Ryan go. This allowed him to fulfill a promise to Becca to protect Ryan and turn him over to Mallory. Finally, it became clear that Victoria Neuman herself is a super. Hughie worked for her without knowing the truth. In the third season we will hopefully finally find out what Victoria is up to and why.
As usual, we will all see Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Jessie T. Usher, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell and Claudia Doumit in their trusted roll. Below is the broadcast schedule and the titles of the episodes:
The first three episodes of The Boys season 3 will be available on Amazon Prime Video from June 3. After that, a new episode follows every week with the final on July 8.
